Yes, get the game. Enough of the "ohh my gawd the grafixxx are so good rarrr xoxoxox" posts. It's the STORY that makes a good RPG. DQ8 has it. Played 5/8 of the Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest games and every one has a rock solid story, great music, and all around great script.
I'm also playing dot.hack//Infection and like that too. Magna Carta is also a good game if you like something with a bit more action, and the FF12 demo included with Dragon Quest ain't too bad either ;) |

I wasn't too into the story of DQ8; I'm more of a Xenogears type of story guy. |

ahhh you like watching the game instead of playing it ;)
So have you played Xenosaga I or II? I can't wait for Xenosaga III, enjoyed both of the previous very much. Only played Xenogears a bit back on the PSX, I should go load up ePSXe & give it a try again :) |

I didn't like any of the saga's; but Xenogears I love. Amazing story, gameplay...everything :toocool: |

DQ 8 is not for every rpg fan...its more a novelty game in a way. |
