how can a picture thread not have any comments.
imagine if the picture thread in the CORe had 2 clear of the spam.. instead of a 400+ page thread it would prob be 20.
No fun at all.
And scott telling us to keep the comments to a minimum is a lil nazi like. Why would u join a message board to not post ?

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Colleen! :) I know I'm pretty notorius for the spam, so what I'm doing is adding all the pics I have for the gallery into the initial post. Should keep working like that unless the "edit post" function expires, which it shouldn't. |

I know u made it but u could have always PM'd me and i could have transferred ownership to someone else. Instead you've deleted a thread which everybody enjoyed with no consultation with myself or anyone else just because u got annoyed with it, and left me and Swamper to traul through hours of TA logs (1 day = 3gb in data) to find out what happened.

so yea thats it. DarkAngel has requested that should we need another one, he'd like to make it, so expect a new thread soon. Im quite pissed off that someone who made a thread stating hes leaving TA for whatever reasons, deletes a group thread because hes now bored of it, and ontop of all this im leaving and deleting threads , he still logs on daily.
He could have PM'd me and i could have easily cleared out all the 'spam' in 15 minutes.

For the record:
a few days ago a coworker came up to me at work and was like "dude, i didnt know you were a TA. me and some friends were looking up WMC info and saw pics of you all over the gallery." big shocker right? since i started the gallery and the first 10 pics were of me. so i thought ok this is cool, they know im down with the scene, etc.
next question, "hey Phil, do you know where we can get some pills?" this is where problems start arising. now for those of you who i dont chat with on a regular basis, i have stopped doing hard drugs completely. This started a few months ago and i was doing great with it with the exception of my girlfriend and i breaking up and a trip to ATL that immediately followed. Point being, as much as i love the scene, i do not want people i work with knowing that i was involved with drugs at all. its just bad for business.
well ok, its not like there are pics of me with a bong in my hand or a tic tac container full of pills. then i remembered the baloon pic that greg threw up there. remember that one? yeah, de-evolutionized to the max.
as i reviewed my original post, saying "pics only, lets keep the spam to a minimum," and scott (mod at the time) reinforcing that statement. the whole idea of the gallery is to put a face with the name with the TA alias. and thats fine if you wanna see my face or the first 5 people to post up pics, but after that, you have to sort though 50 pages off pure crap to see a total of 5 cumulitive pages of pics. i mean, its fun to chat and all, but do we have to up every single thread with:tongue2 and:eyespop: and:whip: and:wtf: and all that other crap that really says nothing.
this is when i realized that my dream gallery had turned into nothing more than the galleries of old. a big fat nasty can of SPAM!!! all my hopes were shattered and i just couldnt bare the thought of my name on the biggest and most spammed out thread on the FL forum.
and while im still under oath here. if the management (which still lives on another f-in continent) wishes to prevent things like this from happening again, maybe they should change the admin rights on sticky threads so that only mods can delete stickys. then again, what do i know.
its not like we all dont have hard drives with all out pics on them. and coup, if you wanna know why i got a little rude in my PM, i guess its cuz i just dont like being questioned about something that i have the right to do, where i broke no rules of any kind. we americans are kinda weird like that. we enjoy our rights. maybe if you hopped the pond and earned the qualifications for your position you would understand.

i mean we all know that if jonsun closes his own thread he will have to answer to the mods and get flammed for weeks. |
