not impressed...

The only time you should experience that type of oversteer ("drift" as they call it in some circles) is when you make a mistake; tail-end braking, too much throttle while cornering, lifing the throttle in a corner, etc. Drifting, imho, is just another element of the fast-and-furious B.S. that is so pervasive on the roads today.

i see that as "art", and not technically skill.

how can you gauage drifting compared to a race?

Why do people always hate. Just because you have a front weel drive car dont mean you have to be a dick to the rest of us.

That video sucked here is a better one.

Actually, my car is RWD, thanks. I will never own a FWD car...
I guess I just don't see the point in 'drifting'... just seems like a waste of tires to me.
Personally, I prefer not to shred a $500 set of rear tires for five mins of smoke and noise. Also, 'drifting' through a corner is not the fastest way through it. I will give credit that it takes a good deal of car control to 'drift', but no more than any experienced club racer or weekend driving school warrior posesses.
See you on the track...
