Hello guys,

I've just bought my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 and I have installed it on my computer. After the driver installation I tryied to configure it but the Delta Control Panel seems so complicated.I've read the manual and the other stuff.
The problem is that it sounds very weak, it has no power ,no real bass.Does this souncard have an EQ for bass, mids & treble or I'm blind?? Because right now it sounds similar to my ex-onboard card.

So if you have the card and know what to do to improve the sound just post here.

Thank you!

Uhm, it shouldn't be increasing the bass and treble, it SHOULD sound more or less just like your old soundcard, just more hi-fi (correct word?? :p ) because of better Digital-Analog converters and provide lower latency. The card does not have any built in effects, if you want to increase the bass response when listening to music just do it in your media player (Winamp, iTunes, Windows media all have Equalizers, I believe).

And about the complexity, keep the manual close and just tinker with the controls. The "I wonder what happens if I press this red button?" -attittude is how people learn, just experiment :)

Ive got one of these and on the whole its brilliant.

Thing I noticed was when I recorded a set from my decks (1210's and DJM707) there was a LOT of bass recorded which was a pain.

The sound output is a million miles ahead of the on board ty sound I had on my PC tho.
