| Why is it so hard to accept different points of view people? Seriously... The reason religions have lasted is because of peoples urge to hold onto tribal roots where they feel connected through common beliefs. There are tons of beliefs out there. If say, Christianity was the correct and only way, then well over half of the worlds population would be going to hell. Heaven seems to be a pretty exclusive place for God/Allah to create. Why would a creator shun over half of its creations just because they 'didnt find thier way' or 'believe something else'. The whole point of living is being able to make choices. Think what you want about other people, but by saying someone is stupid or is going to hell, just because they dont believe what you do seems pretty closed minded. Religion should bring people together, not push them away. Seriously... lay off. |

well that's to some extent what i'm saying. religious interpretation is going to vary among people...even those of the same faith. it's stupid to say this girl is going to hell because she is dressed a certain way or whatever because obviously she has decided it's ok, just as i was suggesting that there are certain things plaxx might do that someone with a stricter adherance to islam might consider sinful... |

| Blaah. All the Abrahamic religions are the same anyway. Allah, "god" or Jesus, yup, it's the same . I bet it's actually the same god that has changed some aspects to fit different people. Like that Godzilla VS King Kong movie where Godzilla wins in the Japanese version and King Kong wins in the American. |
