I in love them!..They're uber fun to party with and hang out with in general, they make the best of freinds, they're very open-minded and witty, they're ZE best people to go shopping with :D, they're super funny and make u laugh till u grow abs!...they love EDM, and that's an automatic A+ in my book...They're just awesome :toocool: |

Gay guys annoy me because of this same trait... I wouldn't say "hate" since I don't really think anyone deserves an emotion as strong as hatred from me..
On the flip-side, to be fair, straight men annoy me too. I don't enjoy talking about girls and boats and other meaningless neanderthal bull. Straight men also tend to be very close-minded and tend to act stupidly in response to anything that they perceive to be out of their realm of current perception.
The people who are worth discussing on both sides are the ones who are cool enough to be themselves and be unique.

Statement 1: I will not mix up the term gay, as in ‘happy’ with gay, as in ‘homosexual’ in my response. I reserve gay to mean homosexual.
I have to disagree with your statement that the homosexual population of gay men is generally more ‘happier’ than lesbians. I am a 22 year old gay male, living in Chicago out on my own. I have been out to my family for three years. I work full time for a consulting firm downtown and go to school full time. I have horrible days just like straight people. I get annoyed at bills, boys, my cat and university work. I think you should not draw a line between the heterosexual population and the homosexual population when referring to who is ‘happier’.
I agree with your statement that homosexual men seem to be more effeminate. I want to cite some examples and introduce you to some of the gay culture that I see on a weekly basis. In the gay community, when someone is describing their appearance, we often include a modifier to say how ‘gay’ we are. The terms often used are ‘I am straight acting’, ‘middle-of-the-road’, or ‘effeminate’. A lot of men that are homosexuals will never go around with a lisp, flailing their arms about and repeating the phrase ‘omigod’; that is a gay stereotype. I will agree that I see a lot of effeminate men when I go out to bars and clubs, however, I think you are making big overgeneralizations.
It does seem that gay men tend more toward the female traits and lesbian women show more mescaline traits however there are exceptions for every rule.
I would like to use myself as an example and describe how I fit into the continuum of ‘acting homosexual’.
“Prettyboy/Prettyboi”: I am a pretty boy.
Pros. I have clean skin, pretty face (bone structure, symmetrical face), soft fine hair, good posture, athletic body. A lot of men hit on me and well, I get a lot of free drinks. I don’t have to wait in lines at bars and clubs and I can get a drink of almost anybody if I flirt a little and pretend to like them.
Cons: I get grabbed a lot, touched, gestured to, and stared at a lot by older men. I have more effeminate traits.
Yes I do have more effeminate traits. I do however respect the straight world and would not ‘queen out’ at work of when I am out with my fraternity brothers. |
