what the??

I can understand the comments correcting our grammar about comparing a remix to a sample...

but why is MAX GRAHAM telling us Airtight is crap?
Can you explain why you're not a fan of your own best-work!?>!

tom was discussing this before, he was excited to work on it, I do believe he was hired to do the remix and thus the remix will be released officially.

heheh i was thinking the same as well, its a bit funny... but i can sort of understand what max is saying. if you compare his recent productions to back then of tracks such as airtight and bar none, they're very different... although i wouldnt necessarily call it crap :) its like looking back at a trance mix i made 2 years ago which i think nowadays is crap because my tastes have changed

either way im very impressed with the 'remix' 'sample' whatever it is by max graham... 1 of my fav tracks of the year and he only sampled 20 seconds of talk... i wonder what wouldve happened if he could have remixed the entire song.. and max, come back to nyc soon! :o

I understand where Max is coming from as well I just think everyone can look back and say look how far ive come with producing/djing/whatever but thats not the case with Airtight. In my opinion it's one of those classic tracks that always will be a good track....they dont make trance like that any longer quite frankly

+1

The world is crying out (at least 2 people now) for Max to make tracks like Airtight not the latest stuff. :stongue:

guys read what i wrote...im not talking about the music, im talking about the production...the studio engineering side of it not the music side of it

i love airtight and always will, i just wish i had the studio skills to make it sound as good as junkie xl's stuff does now...
