Eggs as dairy?
eggs and milk products are in some circumstances grouped together under the heading of dairy. For example, the Open Directory Project at one point listed cooking eggs as a subcategory of cooking dairy products. However, dictionary definitions of "dairy" are limited to milk products and, as a result, will always exclude eggs and egg products.
at least look it up, . |

I understand looking it up, but eggs and dairy products are an every day part of our lives. I've always understood eggs to be poultry or protein based foods. Eggs provide nutritional benefits but few if any of those provided by more "traditional" dairy products. So, I apologize that I didn't look up something that I felt secure that I "knew".
off though, don't call me an over such petty . |

What? Fah-Q. you're the one who's making a big deal by even posting some stupid like "oh, i didn't know eggs are dairy" and then going on to saying your above post. So, hencethereforth...eat me :) |

No it isn't (a bad analogy), because most culinary chefs consider a tomato to be a vegatable. |

How is it stupid to say I didn't know something that another member posted? I would suggest that that type of post has better content than most of the that is posted around here. I won't eat you, but I will end this pointless and tepid discussion :D |
