White noise + resonance + filter. Voila.
Try Crystal VST. It's free and good for that stuff. |

| You can make some decent sweeps with 3xosc ;) Just set all osc's to white noise and play with filter. |

once you have set up the synth, go into the ins tab and select vol
set del + att to 0 and amount to full. right click on spd and set to 1 step or whatever. will give that train kinda volume increase interference like in the ferry corsten mix of synaesthesia just before the main synth kicks in during the breakdown :)
hope that 1 helps u ;)
play around with the other lfo's, settings + fx and u can make some pretty wild stuff

I fired on a phaser/flanger effect and mucked around with that in FL Studio. Sounded ok and different.

u dont need any flanger or something since its just a metallic effect on it , it wont sound sweepy
as Luke mentiond its all about ADSR Adjustments and LFO Tweaking
