I'm having trouble buying tickets from the Ultra website.

I keep getting timed out errors or connection reset errors.. :(

christ, Ultra really rapes you on tickets! They charge you $10 in extra fees and taxes (wtf..taxes?!) and then they force you to pay $9 to ship them b.c there is no will call option! :whip:

You will get raped again my friend when you arrive at Ultra. They charge $5.00 for a water bottle, $7.50 for beer (small), and their merchandise is like $25.00 for a t-shirt with the Ultra logo on it. I bought one last year and it faded on my first wash.

TA MEET-UP THE DAY OF ULTRA

If anyone is interested & hasn't read the thread. Some of us are gonna meet-up the day of Ultra & have some drinks & then go to Ultra.

It would be alot cheaper pounding 2 or 3 frozen drinks than paying the smae price for beer @ Ultra. Get a nice buzz b4 going in would sound better than waiting in line to pay for overpriced beer.

Besides you can even have on on the way to ULTRA to keep the buzz going as well :tongue2

So anyone interested let me know so you can meet up with us.

After you get padded down at the entrance they give you a small map, along with the lineups and stage info. ;) Everything you need will be on that pamphlet.

I hope the Beatport and Carl Cox stages aren't too far apart!

Hey everyone,

I'm in Vegas and it doesn't look like I'll be able to get to Miami this year, I'm so bummed. But if you want to save a few bucks on tickets since $66 really is highway robbery, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] and you can buy them from me for $50 each for TWO tickets.

All the best,

Adam

Anyone get copies of the promised Ultra 7 DVD with their tickets yet? I thought it was due last month already.... but haven't heard anything since. I hope it's not gonna have to be picked up at Ultra itself.

PulveriserTX
I agree, I dont wanna have to carry that DVD around while I am at Ultra. In there info about the DVD, its specifically says that the DVD will be mailed out to you at your home address.

"For online ticket purchases, your tickets and DVDs will be delivered to you. If you buy tickets at official retail ticket outlets, you can pick up your DVDs at the festival's entrance or have it delivered to you."

I don't see them paying for the shipping cost to each online user if they already sent us the tickets, that doesn't make sense.

Also, why did they wait so long to release 2005 DVD? They should have released it earlier, so that it may advertise even more!

I'm not going to be staying in the city longer than Saturday (one of these days I'll make it for the WMC), but there are no real transportation options to the airport after Ultra ends.

Any ideas on what I should do until the bus lines open up again? I guess I could try for the carry-on, but I really don't want to spend more money, and I'll be spent physically as it is.
