yea i would say it was about 10 tracks or maybe a few more. but as said earlier it was weird there lolz ... me drew dannie all of us go front and centre just before yahel was to come on thinking we shid get a dancing spot and what not cos everyone will rush there once he comes on but totally opposite. ppl started leaving and we are like WTF !!! lolz between us TAs we OWNED the dance floor lolz ppl were looking at us like what the hell wrong with us. the club itself is great the setting is very nice and the staff is not too bad either. there were no ID checks no search at front door either and they had heaters outside for smokers. the crowd on the other hand, well atleast last night was a ypical Infected Mushroom crowd at guv lolz. not that i expected anything else but it was kinda strange to see everyone just stand there when Yahel played a fantatstic remix of Liquid Love with female vocals of Tammy and guitar and piano. such an amazing remix and only handfull of ppl are enjoying it.
anyways for me atleast it was a fantastic night. tons of room to dance and some wicked wicked track selection. Goldfinger played a delecious remix of Dark Side of the Moon which had me bouncing off the walls lolz. great job for an opening set and then Yahel deleivered as per expected :D. the one thing i am kinda pissed about is that he only played for just over an hour. oh well it was worth it.

I drove over to State T. at 11pm (its just around the corner from where I live) to see if its open- it was. Called Tylor and went back home to finish getting ready. My friend Magda decided not to go.
Since its only a 5 min drive for me and it was only like 12 I decided to have a quick power nap b4 heading down and meeting everyone. BIG mistake- I woke up from my nap at 3:40- I had the TV on, my cell phone was beside me but I slept through it liek a baby
Sorry Tylor, I saw that u called me and sms- I slept and believe it or not I dreamed that im missing the event cuz im sleeping - soo weird. Woke up fully dressed wearing makeup but decided it was too late now so changed into my pajamas and went back to sleep |

Tylor, hun Im soo sorry- I was all ready to go- was soo pissed at myslef for beeing such a party pupper and sleeping throught it- soo faken stupid- especially that I spent like 30 mins making my hair straight ;) which is 30 more than i usually spend on stupid things like that but that just shows u that i really wanted to go

one of the many highlights of my night - and i can't get it out of my head...lol.
After picking up Vadim and Tyler we made excellent time to State Theatre. When we got there as Tyler has mentioned...no id checks... or anything, coat check was a pain but hey what can you do...
not to long after getting into the club a very nice guy came up to me with a bottle of vodka and a unopened redbull...haha my night was set...
Darkside of the moon was dropped - w00t!!! what a tune....*sigh* sooooo goooood!!! - this one really got me warmed up for yahel
I have to say Yahel's interaction with the crowd is outstanding...I will never ever miss a Yahel set again...I'm still regretting missing his set at Guv a year ago.
Came home and actually had a really good conversation about Yahel with my father who saw him at Nikki Beach in Florida with DJ Endgame (drew) damn them...Yahel at Nikki Beach:crazy: :eyespop: :crazy: ?!?!??! He was poking fun at the fact that Yahel only played a 1hour n 22min set...whereas he got to hear him for 3 or so hours.
Now listening to my 8hour Yahel mp3 cd...and still rocking out!!! |

| I wish I would have gone. I had all intentions of going....got talking with the folks and then decided to have a nap...the turkey was kicking in....next thing I know....12:30. Decided not to make the drive to toronto at 1:00 am. |
