How much variation does your turntable have?
I bought my two technics mk5 turntables back, brand new and I get a little bit of pitch variation.
Like it goes quiclky from -0.05 to -0.04 to -0.03 ....all the way to like + 0.05. in a fraction of a second. So when two tracks are accuratelly beatmached that tiny bit of variaton is
the same at both decks happening at exacly the same time leaving you with a clean two minite mix that you only have to correct by slightly by riding the pitch or twisting the spindle a few times.
I am guessing thats the norm with analog decks. They are much more persise in terms of resolution ( you can get closer to the other tracks tempo) but less stable in terms of pitch stability than cd decks.
Either that or there is something wrong with my decks.
Do your decks variate alittle bit at the traktor 2.6 or 3.0 screne or is it just mine?

p.s. excuse my ty spelling.

I am guessing that this is the norm variation decks have regardless of whether you play
digital tracks or vinyl and all traktor is doing is reading and diplaying that.

I thought my decks were screwed up when I first saw that. But what I did was have 2 records (same song) play at the exact same time at 0% and see if they drifted off or anything.

Even out of the factory decks dont normaly have the same 0 point.
So 0% pitch on one deck may be faster then on the other.
Technics are good for holding their pitch because of the quartz lock.
