I'm sorry, but there are millions of people who work on computers ALL day at work, then come home and go online even longer (including me). I work on a computer for 9 hours a day, then when I come home, I go online, check emails, listen to music, post on the boards, chat, etc..... and you don't see my eyes turning blood red and foggy. Being on computers all day might cause severe headaches/migranes.... back aches.... stuff like that, but not what you described.
Go get a proper exam and see what's REALLY going on with your eyes.

I am sorry to hear as well. that's def. scary! I agree with Miss Julia, I would def. go for a proper exam to follow up. I also am on the computer all day at work and then when I come home I am on it a lot and my vision has def. been affected by it to an extent. Hope all is better now! Glad you're ok! |

Just got back from the doctor!!! Woohoo... For those of you who doubted the Mexican doctor, guess what? HE WAS RIGHT!!!! My US eye doctor told me everything the Mexican doctor told me almost word by word. He even told me to keep using the same medication because it's a really good & strong medication I am taking.
It all boiled down to this. I cought an eye infection, not by the computer, but somehow, I cought one. But, just like the Mexican doctor told me, the computer is ing my eyes up. I got diagnosed with an Eye Infection & COMPUTER VISION SYNDROME... On other words, I have to finish my meds so my infection will go away, plus whenever I work with the computer, I have to wear GLASSES!!! That sucks! I'm not used to wearing glasses, but I have to now! :( At least is not something worse. The doctor said I had a really good mexican doctor and to keep the same prescription. I should be fine in a couple of days. My follow up appointment is next week.
By the way, the US Doctor and the Mexican Doctor did the exact same tests to reach the same conclusion. I dunno why people don't trust Mexican Doctors. I always had such good luck with them. They always cut all the bull and get straight to the point.

I never doubted nor do I doubt Mexican doctors from across the border. IMO ... I think they're way better than the doctors here in CA and Mexico happens to have one of the BEST schools in Medicine. :p
