wow, another one of those OH MY ! nights..

osbourne and gow got me movin'

then i spent lukes set goin ape .. TOO ape as I missed out dancing to the last 6-7 tunes.. all killer! fack!

i think he played 2 tracks from his lastest kiss set.. Graham our favourite tune from that mix.. and at least one other.. but both (i believe) different mixes.. also at least 1 tune from his last extended set at system (and again i believe a different mix)

there was an awesome crowd @ footwork, was there early, but it filled up quick and tons of people just out to have fun.. had several ppl just come up to talk to me & be social..

Tara I know you had a good bday! :D If you weren't busy talking to someone I would always see you dancin' with a grin on your face :)

its all good. i was expecting many people to be going out of town for new years anyway...
that what sucks about having my birthday so close to christmas and new years.

yea was pretty good..his mixing is perfect...his flow just went up and up in energy so that was great too...kept everyone dancing for sure and i can't really knock him, he was pretty flawless...but by the end it was just a little too much funky house, kinda gets repetitive, but thats just personal... didn't seem like he was as into it as at systems either..o well. wish he'd get more progressive...but it was definately great music to dance too.

I feel your pain, dude. My birthday is on January 3rd, a day when everyone (including myself) is still recovering (physically and financially) from NYE and the holiday season.

I would have liked to go to this party, because Luke Fair is awesome, but I've given Footwork enough chances. I find it hard to have a good time there.

Waaaay too much fun! I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my birthday.

I drank, drank and drank. And then did shots. :o

Got there by 10:30 and Lee was already in fine form. The crowd arrived en mass from 11 onwards and wow, did it ever fill up for a Tuesday night. I quite liked the rotation between Lee and Greg, their styles complimented so well and found approval with the dancefloor crew.

Luke started up at midnight with a bit of a transitional phase that lasted for ~45 mins. Then with one track (sorry, my tipsy memory doesn't recall which one) the Luke Fair sound was unleashed. Such good funky sounds that had me pretty much glued to the dancefloor til 4am. Great seeing that the dancefloor stayed full right til the end with the masses hollering for (what else?) "one more!"

Thanks to all at Footwork, the fantastic djs and basically everyone who came out, flashed a smile, shook their ass and had a good night out. It was fabulous. :)
