Hi,
long time no new track. ;)
This one isnt really new either, I just thought I could share it with you.
I originally sent this to labels some weeks ago but again, I didnt get any answer. My next promo will be a *real* cd sent via *real* mail I think :P
Anyway, this one is darky-psy with lots of atmosphere, yet some bits of melodies.
I think I wont be able to fix anything since I'm getting 100% CPU load all the time and sometimes FL even crashes. Lots of detail work in here.
Equipment used: FL Studio 5, Spectrasonics Atmosphere, Linplug Albino, ReFX Vanguard, dblue Glitch, Ohmforce Ohmboyz, PiWarp, z3ta+ ...
Length: 9:56
Filesize: ~23MB (but from a fast server ;))
Bitrate: 320kbps
and finally, the link:

hope you enjoy! |

Very nice as usual!
Maybe it's just my headphones but the highs feel a bit too loud.
4:40 = pure evilness ;)
Hey btw did you ever finish that remix of synthetic? |

Intro's got some good ambience before kicking into the beat. You really love those relentless basslines.
This track is fooken dark man. Its getting into industrial/ebm territory I think. Definately has a front line assembly flavour about it. Those pads are just awesome and all the lfo'ed synths keep it interesting.
Arpeg/gate sound you bring in near the end is a slight releif from the bleakness, but generally this one never lets up. Good work :)
I find the highats a little thin. Have you thought about using a noisegate on them to give them a little more hiss? I tried this the other day on some hats and it worked pretty well.
Production is very clean and cold. Your EQing is getting better with each track. Theres some decent synth madness going on but you manange to separate them out well. I did find it a tad dull in the upper mids though. Some of those synths should be jumping out at me and just arnt right now.
Evil work! |

Thanks a lot for the comments, Axo and Aquarian. Yeah, I am still trying to get the various elements "clearer", but I dont want to make the mistake to overcompress it, that sounds horrible to me IMO. So its more or less a question of fine tuning. I'm kinda afraid I cant change it much though, because I got this damn Cpu load like 100% all the time now. So many layers...
Anyway, thanks for your feedback :) |
