How's BED? AKA Holden on Jan 28 ;) (pg. 2)

| I was at BED for Desyn and I thought it was a great venue for him. BED is a converted 6th floor loft on top of Spirit. The entrance basically opens into the freight elevator that takes you to BED which is a restaurant by day and lounge by night. They cleared the middle as a dance floor with a low DJ booth in front - I literally could have jumped on Desyn if I wanted to, although there was a bouncer keeping watch :tongue2 - and the bar in back. The beds are around the perimeter and I think reserved for bottle service. The coat check is pretty limited and was full by the time we got there (around midnight) so we ended up leaving our jackets on a random bed and one of my friend's jackets was stolen! The sound system is really loud... at least it was for Desyn... and my ears were ringing when we left. I liked the crowd because everyone was dancing, some girls on the beds, and no guido types or really old cracked out Chinese people... no offense to anyone! |

FRRRANNNN! BED was NOT fun when I went there for dins but who knows...could be a killer party atmosphere. The ceilings are really low and the place is not that big. The BED thing obviously adds some serious appeal- especially for the classic KellyBelly sit outs. They should throw some comfier seating arangements into Spirit right? Maybe I should contact the management. Those cements stairs were damn hard!

kelly ur crazzy lol. There are couches n in spirit as soon as u walk in towards ur left and right , usually with candles but its soo dark u might not have noticed it heh.
and im not letting you have a classic sitout for armin :) |

Oh ya, I forgot- there were couches but someone told me it was VIP blah blah blah. I remember saying to Hitoriki, "I don't wanna sit in the VIP! I wanna talk to REAL people." I was high outta my mind- the stairs were actually not THAT uncomfortable. eeek.
ps- there will certainly be NO sitting out at Armin. |

I thought BED as a space was really cool. Outdoor smoking lounge on the roof with a nice view. The sound system was great and lights were sufficient I thouhgt, and people really cool. However the coat check got full, and there was only one small bar with not enough bartenders, which got annoying. Then they made Desyn stop shortly after 4am. He could have spun all night as far as I was concerned. What the .
Anyway, I will def go again for Holden. |
