Hi There, I Recently Purchased a Pair of Ortofon Concorde Q-Bert Cartridges for my Technics SL1210s.
I've Set everything up properly on the decks but i'm having
Bad skipping Problems and Cue burn on my records when I
mix. It says the recommended Weight is 3 Grams, thats what
i've got it on & my height & anti skate is 0. Is that the
correct settings for the cartridge or am i doing something wrong
because Its really skipping badly and the cue burn is not
good.

Please help a brother out here on how to eliminate the skipping and cue burn.
these cartridges suppose 2 be virtually skipless.

Is your tone arm at the correct height?
sr126
are your needles broken in yet? if they require a break in period, then you may want to lay off the scratching untill the needle/carts settle in.

if the arm is a the correct hight (parallel to the record)

then you may want to double check to make sure you balanced the arm correctly before adding the 3g's of wieght.

try adding/removing some weight.

try messing w/the anti-skate a little.

are you sure the tone arm itself is in good shape? it may have a banged up bearing, or messed up suspension.

if it's none of the above, you may want to consider exchanging the needles 'cause they might be a bad pair.
