Sounds like you just need your own space, that or your trying to kick a habit (smoking,drinking,drugs)...

how old are you?
when i was in my mid-teens i was a pretty angry person too without reason.
Find help and discuss with your girlfriend to respectfully step aside to find forms of help. She will understand
my "rage" lasted about 6 months, and this without help. I eventually grew out of it.

I get really aggressive too towards my parents, little things seem to annoy me, and I always go on the defensive whenever they start asking questions.
I also get aggressive when my brother goes 3-0 in FIFA 2005, that really s me off, I have to really resist not to punch his smug face :)

Which medications are you taking at the mo? there are two i've been on in the past which have made me really aggressive & argumentative, wondering if it's linked to something like that, symptoms like agitation & anger or random emotions can often be related

It's natural for you to feel aggressive urges. I would guess that you might not have a good outlet for them right now, so your mind is inventing things to react that way to.

A lot of people who think they have problems like this, even including many mental illnesses, are just people who are lacking some kind of stimulus that their mind is naturally conditioned to expect, and so their mind starts inventing phantoms of that stimulus for them to react to out of the situations they find themselves in on a daily basis. For example, if you don't have enough things in your life that it's appropriate to react to with aggression, then you might start feeling aggression towards inappropriate things, or if you don't have enough things in your life to feel legitimate sorrow about, you might start getting disproportionately down about things that aren't really that bad at all.
