Well as the current moderator of the ILTA,
I must say that I didn't really understood this thread.
Sure, I liked the Lebanon folks I met abroad,
But well... non of them were arabs so I can't really tell.
Moreover, this forum, despite being a part of the europe section
is a place for Israelies discuss aspects which envolves the Israeli life. This forum will remain in Hebrew.
I don't have any problems though with building a Middle east forum
for English use, and putting the Israeli forum a sub-forum of it. |

The thing is that most countries are properly classified under there respective sections on this forum! except israel that i truly believe that is part of the middle east and yet is in the european section. I respect all the countries and believe that each and every single country has the EDM scene rolling in it.
The goal is to get the proper identity on this forum! that will make each middle east country that has an active EDM scene discuss under its own country section. unless we are unwanted in here and our local message has to remain anonymous under a faulty section.
This is a minor and major issue at the same time. minor when it comes that we are here to talk mostly about music, and major when we are classified in the wrong section or even negleted!!
RESPECT TO ALL COUNTRIES!!

well i only wrote on the site suggestions area and ill write it here again
i'm totally with you on this one i think its a good idea!
we israelis do feel like writing in hebrew too like every other country on these forums and i bet that like you too
but the idea as a total is something that should be discussed and should become real! i hope the tranceaddict managers will think of it seriously
and another thing...you can start opening threads in the israeli section about basically anything. lets start the change by you participating more over here!

I'm Lebanese and i'm another member for the same purpsoe listed above, to open a middle east section below which lebanon,israel..and many other countires will be listed....The Edm scene here is growing much and it would be really appreciated to see an open section for us...

bieng lebanese and born abroad... i met alot of isreali's at several gigs... they were friendly and they never showed any signs of inhostility towards my country,on the contrary we were both freindly towards one another, i respected them for that.. its not about our political issues.. its all about us as poeple and what we believe in and as ravers i think that we all believe that music unites us regardless to where we belong... we basically do the same ... contribute to the same ... thats why we should co-operate with one another,forget what happened in the past and work for a better future.
may we all live in peace and harmony.

hey dude to be honest lebanon is one of the countries i cant even understand why aren't we in better political relationships...
i sent a mail to the studio of ministry of sound last night during above & beond's show and they read it on the show...
i wrote there that im pretty sad cause they are coming to beirut and i would love to be there but due to political issues not me and not you are guilty in having them i won't be able to see them...
i do hope to meet some lebanese felows abroad when ill be at any gig there!
