Yes the clubbin can spoil you in London (no complaints there) lol
It's nice to see a scence where there's easily enough room for two excellent events in one night. |

As its his London Debut I thought we should put down a little about our headliner for the Vaccine room, someone we will be supporting wholeheartedly throughout 2006 as a future great, we're not the only ones who think so even Ferry Corsten has picked him out as the next big thing!!
Hes already a huge favourite at the likes of Godskitchen, and Eyecon as well as playing all round the world and his last couple of releases included the huge Filth and the remix of Dogzilla - Without You
RONALD VAN GELDEREN
Playing all around the world make's him one of the most fast upcoming DJ's of this moment. Countries like UK, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Swiss, Greece, Germany, Poland, Israel, Canada, Spain, USA and many more are already known with this professional entertainer. Ronald's latest release "Cold Storage" made people realise that he's one of the pioneers in the Dance Music scene of this moment.
Music has always been the biggest passion in Ronald Van Gelderen's life. To mix love and hobby together, makes him standing at the top of his career now. In the Harbour City Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Ronald had toyed around with the idea of producing music while studying to become a technical engineer.
It all started with his dad's turn tables and cassette player. While listening to the famous Dutch radio show "Soul Show" he cut and pastes the music and played it himself. He started his own pirate radio show at the age of 14. After he got caught, he started his own Drive Inn show. This became a great success, that he was touring mostly every weekend to school parties, weddings and kid's celebrations. Together with a friend he started a Hip Hop band called "Dutch Mob" where he scratched and wrote the lyrics.
At this point he met his friend Ferry Corsten, who was already a starting DJ at that moment. To see his studio and feel the energy of producing real music, Ronald finally took the plunge in 1997 and started making music full time.
In 1998 he released his first track, "My X-perience" under the alias Formologic (Label: Flammable Records). He's next follow up was "Sweet Substance" under the alias
N-Fluence was quickly signed up by Paul Oakenfoldīs label Perfecto. After this release Ronald gained notable reviews in the Trance scene.
Plunging into producing full-time in 1999, Ronald has proven to be the master of his unique "slightly tough" sound with strong melody structures and a cutting edge.
Ronald signed up at the label "TSUNAMI" and released some famous hits in the dance scene:
1.) Kid Vicious "Paraphrase"
2.) Kid Vicious "Re-Form" (B-side mix from DJ Tiesto)
3.)Van Gelderen "Konga"
4.) Van Gelderen "Aftershock"
5.) Electrobis "Phonetic"
6.) Kid Vicious "Pants Down Spanking"
7.) Electrobics "Indecisive"
8.) Electrobics "Look Who's Talking"
9.) Kid Vicious "Contagious"
10.) Mix Compilation: Tsunami vol. 2 mixed by Kid Vicious
11.) Ronald van Gelderen "Proceed"
12.) Ronald van Gelderen "Sustain"
13.) Ronald van Gelderen "Crying Out"
Ronald not only produced his own tracks, he also produced together with DJ Tiesto the tracks "Urban Train" and "Suburban Train" which entered the UK single chart at #22.
The year 2003 was another successful year for Ronald. The release of his single "PROCEED" has been a favourite in the worldwide dance scene, with great airplay (8 weeks in a row) by Judge Jules on BBC radio 1. Suffice to say, this record has been on the play list of all big trance jocks all over the world. After "PROCEED" Ronald came back with another smash hit "SUSTAIN" which was again a big favourite of some big jocks in the world. Ronald decided to experiment with vocals and the result was a record with his own vocals on it "Crying out" which again was a great success!!!
His remix of Rapid-Eye's "Stealin Beauty", and Ferry Corsten's "PUNK" has also been recognized by both DJ's and clubbers all over the world. Further more he did remixes for Libra (BT), Dream (Japan), LASGO, Birgit Schuurman, to name a few.
For the UDC event "Impulz" Ronald mixed the compilation: Impulz mixed by Ronald van Gelderen. This compilation became a good success in Holland.
After 6 years of dedicated work for the TSUNAMI label, Ronald decided that it was time for a new challenge. Halfway 2004 he released his first track "Cold Storage" on ID-T Records / Be Your Self Music. "Cold Storage" is a huge bang, reached #7 in the Dutch Dance charts and is being played out by big names all over the world.
With his successful productions and a very hectic DJ career, you could say that Ronald already past the station of "upcoming" and is a definite established name in the Dance Music Scene.

RvG is too techy for my tastes, but I do admit to liking his remix of Punk the most, awesome bubbling bassline :D
I'll be sticking to the fluffier stuff at this ;) |

well everyone else playing in that room will be playing good quality uplifting trance, putting ronald in the middle will break it up but fear not there will be plenty of fluffier stuff all over the place for you
yeah that remix of punk was good, he has a habit of producing great basslines and a lot of the kid vicious stuff is well is wicked! |

| niteshayde |
if i hear kid vicious - proceed...wow...i can't even imagine how psyched/silly i would be acting...
and we don't need the fluffy! gareth can go somewhere else! |

| Saw Mr van Gelderen in Ibiza and was impressed. It was far more uplifting than I was expecting having known some of his productions. Perhaps it was due to playing to the beer boy/holiday crowd of Eden though?! |
