i have a dear friend of mine, who was a terrible person growing up. like she would do drugs (OH NO) and stuff...but she eventually got into petty vandalism, which lead to breaking into cars, stealing change, canadian tire money, and car decks and . She stole money from her work, and she stole money from her mother. Then she got into bank fraud, and started depositing nothing, and claiming it was 200, and then taking it all out. and she would use other peoples credit cards and what not...and she even broke into a daycare and stole ty computers.
When she got caught...she went to jail for a day or so, then she had to go to some kind of program, then ... our good old justice system, gave her a job. Paid for her school, then they got her a better job, and now she's getting a better education (now she's taking law), and she doesn't have any bad things that have happend because of this.....
i mean, she's a good friend, and i like to see her do good, but ...wtf? this happens all the time in my good country of mine...it's..ed? |

| I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Please clarify. Are you asking is the Canadian justice system fair...why doesn't it happen more often...or what? |

| I fail to see how getting a second chance implies that a system of justice is "ed." |

If you put it that way then I would have to disagree with you on that. You suggest perfection. All people cannot achieve this ideal. Some end up on the bad side of the spectrum and require more help. In this case the Canadian Justice system turned a delinquent into a working class citizen who contributes to society. Now BTG poses a great example of how the justice system in Canada is not "f*cked" as you say.
edit: i misread your post, don't mind me. |

| You just showed how the Canadian Justice system seems all about rehibilitation. Unlike the States. |

| It is ed...but I don't understand how this proves it. She got a second chance and she turned her life around. |

...
That was my point exactly. Getting a second chance is excellent.
So I'll say it again. I fail to see how getting a second chance implies that a system of justice is "ed." |
