what an honest to goodness down to earth nice guy..
- apologized profusely for involved's goof ups.. (wrong cd's sent) completely out of his control..
- even tho his set was done and he needed to get to montreal, no "rushing" with chatting to us..
- nobody from SSB could provide a pen/marker for him to sign the cd's.. i'm looking around like an idiot trying to think of where we can find one, when he just casually pulls one out :)
- they brought him some pizza.. he pulls it out saying "damn i'm starved!" and while he's pretty much devoured the first slice in 10 seconds, looks over and offers me the other slice :conf: lol, totally unneccessary but it shows you the kind of person he is..
was extremely impressed with the man.. 
ps. it was a bomb party too :p |

EDIT: hahaha I just totally flipped on everyone in my department in front of probably no less than 20 customers. I asked one question about iPod headphones and all the ing "experts" I work with jumped down my throat without even LISTENING to what I asked which had NOTHING TO DO with what they were all barking about.
So after 5 minutes and 10 extra associates that I didn't need and me saying to their face, "ok now that everyone has had a coronary over HEADPHONES, this is what I really need to know..." while proceeding to ask my original question. Now the 2 girls I work with are all huffing and puffing around me while I serve customers like this :D cuz they know they look like huge retards.
Ya, I just thought I'd share that with everyone. Future Shop employees need to calm down! (as I sit in the back laughing about it still). |

Ok ok, so NYE @ System was definately one of the weirder parties of the year for me. Me, George, and our friend John got there at 8:30 and no one was lining up, so we decided to quickly stop by Shoppers. When we got back there was already a ridiculous lineup. After waiting what seemed like forever we finally were able to go inside. OMGOOHLALADECORATIONS!! The place looked ing awesome! I loved the floating baloons despite how irritating they were to some people (Liam lol.) I decided to be an annoying Cribby as well by blocking people in their paths :stongue: After a few mins I decided to start my drinking fest. Drink after drink, was it 10 or maybe 15? I kept guzzling em down and going back for some more. I shouldn't have been drinking alot considering I was still hungover from the night before. I couldn't resist it, and I had to try all the combinations of + coke or sprite lol The room got pretty packed but it wasn't close to uncomfortable. The tunes were pretty good, but I can't say I remember what was being played.
When the main room opened, Cribby sprinted like he was on a mission; to dance and drink some more!! :D We went straight to the front of the stage and soon asses were shaking in all directions. Time flew by and I had no clue where I was, but suddenly I came back to the front. Everyone had sparklers and the countdown was already at 15. Like WTF I was way too lost. I don't remember screaming Happy New Years and celebrating. Everything between 12 - 5 is pretty much a blur to me, including the music that was played. I do remember being very naughty, and getting myself punched in the face by one of the security guards who was abusing his power grrr. I probably deserved it though, I was REALLY naughty :S I remember taking everyone balloon in sight and popping them with my teeth like I was eating them. Some girl was sad and started asking why I was eating them all, so I took her 20 balloons and "ate" them too LOL! 99 white sketchy balloons :thepirate
Hmmm, I also recall some pillar dancing/raping, holding the drapes like I didn't want System to close, and taking some of the hanging paper rings from the air and putting them over my neck and arms while making them spin like I was a jester. hahaha way too much ridiculousness...
I believe we left around 6:30, which sucks since I like to stay till the end when I can. From what I remember from Howells' set, I was digging it too much. It was decent but I expected something much better. Before the new year, I remember going crazy to Pryda - Aftermath, but I'm not even sure if it was played???? Also I remember looking up and seeing him wearing a wig. I was like WTF!!? LMAO!!
Meh set but awesome party! Loved seeing ALL of the TAs!! Too many to name and remember. This was probably my most drunk night ever. :) I regret getting that wasted though, so that I could of actually remembered the rest of the night but ah well...
