How is it? hows the crowd? Is it pretty packed.....sausagefest?

It will be packed packed packed I'm sure.

The 2nd floor used to be balcony style but I don't know... they enclosed it all in glass. I'll be kinda mad if they don't remove it for this event.

The way Spirit does VIP/tables sounds kinda risky to me but I'm gonna go for it. Basically you call them and have your name put on the list(+ how many guests you're bringing). You buy NO tickets but instead show up on the night of the event and tell them you're on the list for a table. They comp you (and your guests) in (4 person max per table). You then have to buy either 2 $130 bottles of champaigne or 2 $250 bottles of liquor and then you get your table. I asked them if there was any way at all that I could just pay and get tickets ahead of time and they said "No. It's not like restaraunt reservations." Heh... so yeah, guess I'll have to make sure I'm first on line so I don't get jacked  .

Next time I wanna do VIP, I like having a seat and table service and it isn't that bad if you are splitting between 4 people cost wise, like $100/per.

Well if you're buying the 2 bottles of liquor then yeah, that's like 125 per person. If you have your own special ingredients though, then you won't really need to spend too much on alcohol and you can just go with the champaigne ;) . That would make it 65 per person.

And yeah the whole process does sound shady. I guess they just want ppl to show up early, 'cause it's not like they don't want your money if you wanna do vip. I guess they don't wanna hold an open spot for a party that never shows up *shrugs*.

I'll cross my fingers for Nico Parisi vs Eric Hubo - Metro :)
