pretty good deal on one here in the u.s. a shop is having a clearance sale and is bundling the hardware A-Station with the software Bass Station and V-station for $250US. was just more concerned with the A-station, wondering how good it was compared to the other Novation synths.

tried it once and it's pretty cool, just like most novation stuff

The A-Station is just a Rack Version of the K-Station...but it was released before the K-Station...I was going to say dont even bother with it since you can buy a V-station for cheaper, but since you get the bass satation and the v-stattion soft synth too for that money why the hell not.

how's the "A" sound in comparison to say the V-station or Supernova?

Like I said before...the A-Station is teh same unit as the K-Station just in Rack form. So all in all its the same sound as the V-Station and K-Station....but I did find that the K-Station has a little more bottom end than the V-Station, but thats not big deal.

it was advertised for Guitar Center's New Year's clearance sale that i think ended on monday. the A-Station is discontinued and GC bought up Novation's entire remaining stock of it.

The A-Station is a great synth. Very good bass, nice clean leads.
