This is actually a pretty resourceful thread. I'm horrible with mixed drinks, meaning I've heard of all of these drinks but I have no idea what's in them.
When i go to bars I just drink straight Jack Daniels or vodka, because I don't know what's in a sex on the beach or kamikaze. |

| I just don't want to end up ordering a gay drink if i'm drinking it myself. Like a dirty girl scout or buttery nipple.. i wouldn't order that unless i was giving it to a chick. |

| guys shouldn't drink mojiots. well at least not in a big fru fru glass with all that mint sticking out of it like a damn palm tree. |

i can't see how someone can fuk up a Vodka Collins.
It's just Vodka Bar mix and soda water...
Any type of Collins and any type of Sours (Amaretto Sour..) are so easy.. plus all the Gin and Tonics and Rum and Cokes.. you guys would be a bartenders best friend :D |

i had one at my best friends wedding and it didn't look like a girly drink. i think they just do that for you jamie |

it's vodka, sour mix and a splash of soda shaken with an orange and a cherry:p
every time i've ordered one at like a lounge or a restaurant, i got what tasted like vodka & lime juice with a lime in it:wtf: that's a gimlet isn't it?? or just a lazy bartender's vodka collins. ha
any drink with sour mix is garnished with an orange & cherry. i picked up a little bit when i was a server at a steakhouse. i even started training to bar tend there but i got really fed up with the GM and ended up quitting before i was able to take that on. oh well. i got the pouring part down with the counting. hahah |

at nikki beach club & the cheesecake factory, they come in this really tall v shaped glasses with a huge sugarcane stick and lots of mint leaves sticking out of the top.
i'd rather just have it in a regular double glass with not a lot of mint leaves. i hate when it gets stuck in my teeth and i don't like them too sugary. they taste better more limey:) |

haha ur right jamie.
yeah collins are really easy to make but they are prob NEVER shaken.. also Long Islands should be shaken and never are {at clubs}.. which is why they can sometimes taste like .
all Sours and collins gets flags { Orange+Cherry }
but shake then top with soda water ;) |

a bar down at school has the best deal. They call it RAIL DRINK, and that's exactly what it was..
in a huge 230z they pour all the rail liqours in, vodka rum tequila gin, whiskey, and then they top it off with a little bit of grenadine and sprite.
yeah its kind of like a Long Island, but it's brutal and stronger and cheaper. |

when i'm at a busy club or bar I don't order fancy drinks because i know most likely they'll come out ty. so i end up getting a rum and coke which is hard to screw up. |
