uhhhh that bass change around 2:00 is preaty bad, don't like it. bassline sound is not bad but not great either and sounds too "bright" to me. the "supersaw" sound is good, piano is nice too. nothing special with the melody.

ok production overal.

keep it up ;)

thanks guys, its great to see some positive feedback, i always try to do something different with my sounds and i guess it comes down to a matter of tastes. though im really glad you like the saw sphere.

:D

hey man good work! top notch!

Infinityloop...

that is amazing stuff.. goood bassline... upbeat tempo... keeps you interested the whole way through
Illumin
Maybe what could help out with your bassline in the chord progressions is complimenting it with a light, smooth, sub bassline, or what not, cuz when the bass goes to the higher notes, the volume/velocity seems a bit overpowering. Other than that, great track.

Nice intro, effect is cool, bass is bouncy, kick sounds ok. rim effects and general percussion is nice. More effects are needed imo, cymbals, white noise etc etc...

synth is nice, again imo more synths to introduce the track, breakdown is a bit wierd and short, again lack of effects for the kick in. melody is simple too but work can be done.

Nice stuff, mastering and stuff seem fine, keep it up.

thanks for the feedback guys, will think about the things you mentioned for coming tracks, but glad you guys like whats there now :)

melody is not bad.... but there's just something about your productions. sounds a bit to outdated. you need more percussion. more sound effects. builds, sweeps, etc. you need a thicker more mature sound. maybe its just because of the 128 kbps version i heard, but i've seen your productions on audiojelly before. your melodies have always been decent and i've considered buying a few of your releases but the one thing that always holds me back is the sound. just doesn't sound like a 2006 production imo.
Trancevision
I agree, sounds somehow outdated...percussion sound weak,

also the solo bass at about 1:58...

I liked the strings and the piano...this is my cup of tea :gsmile:

very easy and uplifting...

definitively potential, but lacks a little bit of professionality
(but I guess that's why were in this forum :D )
iloop
eh, thanks for the comments guys, I really appreciate the feedback and I can see what you mean here. I've been meaning to update my sample libraries and buy some proffesional sounds, but i've always been too poor to buy myself new software or professional sample libraries + i don't like using hacked programs and stuff, so im left with what I've got to work with... I really appreciate that you like the melodies and some elements tho I don't think it sounds that out of date, maybe 2001-2003 at most? who knows... I hope I don't disapoint with future releases as I'm really working hard to come up with some inovative sounds and melodies...

--------

what do you guys suggest in terms of giving my song some 'professionality' or 'mature' sound?

DaveBegic
Hi iloop,

Nice track you have here, I quite like the bassline. I do with others on the 'dated' sound, I beleive that congo(?) hit that you run with the drum attributes it..

The piano part is quite nice, all your sounds are layed out quite well.. really nice fx.. only thing is that lead sound you have sounds way more like a hard trance sound than an uplifting sound which is what I feel you were after with this one.

Good luck with it.
