ive booked the Clay on Washington St but I did it a little too late...so I wasnt able to get the WHOLE 10 days...im only able to stay from the 17th till the 23rd -- this encompasses GG and Armada Night/Meganite...man I hope that GG is WORTH going to
FastFashion

StereoPrincess

Yep got 3 rooms booked there too. but I got mine 3/22-3/29 just in case :) They got smart and raised their price this year. It's not the most glorius hotel, but at the price, I don't need a pool, and we always have fun every year. I'd like to go to GG, but I don't see much as much happening in between then and the 22nd. And after 5 days in SOBE, I am ready to get the out.

You def want to stay on SOBE thats were most the partys are at the only time youll probably go inland is for Space or Ultra/AA.
You should stay at 1800 Collins and under and any were on Ocean bc the streets not that long.

To give you any ex we stayed last year at 3737 Collins and form our hotel to Nikki (1 Ocean drive) was about a $20 cab ride bc you know us girls can walk in our heels but not that far ecspecially if we are gonna dance all night/morning long ;)

i stayed at the fontainebleu yesterday, really nice resort, looks kinda like a vegas hotel without the casino..but it has jewelry stores etc....enormous hotel..lots of pelple...very nice decoration and it was 200 a night plus tips, valet, etc.
The room was very cozy and spacious...so i highly recommend this place

yea i stayed at 3737 collins as well. the classic HOJO. the hotel was pretty ty. but it worked for just showering and getting sleep. but we had 2 rooms each with 3 people and it was SUPER crowded. and getting a cab way up there took FOREVER! definatly stay south of 20th i'll staying at 1000 collins this year. live and learn

Just reserved 2 rooms @ the Riande Continental on 146 Biscayne Blvd.

This hotel is directly across from Bayfront. So its a couple blocks from Bicentennial for ULTRA.

Its still walking distance and closest/cheapest thing i found. Every where else is also pretty much booked.

Can't wait, just gotta order tickets which should be soon.

Securing a hotel was the main thing. w00t :gsmile:

Early on, I was looking at the Riande hotel too since it was the only hotel with reasonable rates and availability. Plus, it's close to Ultra and Space. But after some more research, I was told that area isn't too good at night (homeless outside the hotel, etc.). In addition, I'll probably spend more time in SoBe than downtown, so I booked at the Carlton Hotel (http://www.southbeachcarltonhotel.com/) right on Collins Ave. isntead for a great price. Supposedly it's been renovated as of Dec. 05. Can anyone confirm or post a review?
