Rising stars takes on a new face as 2006 rolls around, as this year it is hosted by Pete "Petrogad" Carr! Being the Third Year in existence, we are looking for all new Djs that wish to guest mix on ETN.fms Trance channel and show the ETN community what they can do!
February 5th will host the first Rising Stars show of 2006 and we are currently accpecting submissions.
If you are interested in being a guest on the show, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with a 15 min clip of you mixing (you can send this clip using www.yousendit.com) with the subject of "Rising Stars Clip" (to make sure every submission is a serious one).
We will send a prompt response with all the rules for your submissions!
Send in samples quick as slots tend to fill up very fast!!
Good luck and have fun.

********EDIT**********
February slots are filled up (as long as everyone sends in their mixes on time deadline of Monday the 24th) BUT we are scheduling into March and April so Don’t be discouraged!!
We are having a Very Positive response from the show and welcome ALL styles of mixes for the set.
Again this is an AUDIO ONLY clip, you do NOT need to send me a video clip of yourself mixing :p
Thanks to all and Get your submission in!!! |

If featured once already (I did about last september) can we apply again? |

Currently right now due to the enormous intrest in the show, we are looking for strictly new Djs that have not been featured yet. Possibily in the future we will ask for djs that have already been on the show.
Sorry!
Thanks

[hUh. Finally I have this new account in here]
Nice one! I will send my clip as soon as I can.
But; about that 15 minutes. Can I cut track changes around the one hour set? OR: I have to send 15 minutes set which isn't bit by bit...? |

Sure you can do which ever you please, just as long as the sample as a whole is 15 mins :p
Thanks!!

| it dosen't even have to be PRECISELY 15 minutes, we're mainly just checking out your style and skill... if you trainwreck 2 or 3 mixes in a row in a demo/submission, we might wait until your skill develops a little more ;) |

2 Questions
So a requirement in order to send a submission is a live Video of the actual DJ Mixing?
Is this because of Ableton and that autobeatmatching feature it has? |

Who said anything about video? And as far as I'm concerned mixes with Ableton should be okay as well, as long as they are mixed live and on the fly - of course this can never be proven, so I don't know what the rules are :) |
