i started spinning about four months ago and i decided to record a set just for kicks. give it a listen and any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

| Thoughts...I think you should have reversed the order in which these tracks were played. Perhaps, eliminating one or two of the anthems and replacing them with similar-sounding tracks should help to give you your own DJ identity. The sound quality is fair, but still needs a tweak to give it that extra punch. I think you're on the right track with the mixing. However, I find that you're either fading in and out of tracks too soon or key clashing significantly on the transitions. I recommend listening to the tracks to the point where finding the phrases you want to place mixes on becomes second nature. Work on your timing. Not bad for your 1st recorded mix. Good luck! |
