Just enjoyed a fantastic holiday wine tasting in South Africa, and after having many a bottle of amazing wine, I'm curious to see what TOTA's favourite wines are! Please post here, the type, name, where they are from, and where you got them from!!!

Also, vote on wether in general, you prefer red or white!

and recently loving the australian wines, but I can't remember any names...

then youd probably like a riesling, very sweet fruity white

or a good quality south african pinotage, a very fruity red

for more of a special occassion:

La Fiole du Pape (Chateau Neuf Du Pape, Pere Anselme)
France, 1996 or 1998 (I think?)
~$35 @ LCBO

ages very well and comes in one of the coolest bottles you'll find ;)

I've visted most of those South African Wine Estates that you listed. Absolutely beautiful places. South African wine is top notch!

My favorite is Jayx1's whine. :p
