Why havn't I heard this set. ing hell.
And yes that Delta Heavy mix is sick.
We Are All Made Of Stars (Timo Maas Dub) x2...but it sounds sick both times. |

| I read some interview with Diggers saying that he thinks that the prog house movement is coming to an end so maybe it'll go back. |

Depends which one we're talking about. 01-01-99 or 31-12-99? They're both among the best sets I've ever heard, though I like the New Year's Eve 2000 set better. Ethnicolor into Dark & Long, with the crowd in back, still gives me shivers.

I love the Delta Heavy sound! It's one of my biggest influences and I missed the clubbing experiences with it :p
As much as I want it to come back, I think this new electro/prog stuff is more "our" music. Maybe becauase this is what's around as I first start going out? |

I'd say that (the EM) is one of the few good examples of that year's progressive trance/house. Maybe that's just me being nostalgic though. |

In general, I didn't like the progressive sound around 2002; the Delta Heavy EM was an exception. It succeeded in making the usual ploddy post-millennial prog really sleek and intoxicating. But I think the set sounds positively bouncy compared with most of the stuff from then, which just bored me to tears (or snores). As a die-hard '99 Sasha fan, it was especially tragic. |
