Hey everyone. Ive been gone, but now im back.
In photoshop it seems that when you drag a brush across the screen you have to move your mouse a certain distance before it will update. It causes a bumpy stroke like this
anyone know how to get it smooth |

| thats most likely because you have a slow computer or the file is at an extremely high resolution. but if you wanted a straight line you shouldnt be using a hand held brush. |

| well that pic is just an example. Its just the speed of my computer because you can go as fast or slow across the screen as you want it only updates in intervals |

seems decent to me, but photoshop is a demanding app it lags on a bit sometimes and i have a fast pc. |

| if you want to just do straight lines why not select it with the rectagle lasso thing then go nuts? |

It has nothing to do with your computer spec.
In paint shop pro you can adjust the 'step' when using the paintbrush. If you have it set to say 25, it will draw the shape of the brush every 25 pixels.
This is your problem in photoshop i just don't know what 'step' is called in that program |

| open your Brushes palette and under 'Brush Tip Shape' change the spacing to a lower percentage |
