Hi guys, this production I made it 5 months ago, tried with some labels but nothing really came out of it. So, I'll just post it up here and see what are your thoughts on this one.
Right now, I think this track lacks of a clearly audible bass, the bassline is deep, and you can feel there is pressure in the lower frequencies, but I think the bass needs strength.
Feel free to point out more flaws if there are any.
And enjoy.

surprised to see 0 replies to a thread by someone who contributes so much to this forum! on to the track:
i would get rid of that sinewave sweep you have goin through the track...
sounds at 1:17 sound good... track picks up here.. strings at 1:30 are an interesting touch. breakdown is lush, strings are nice here. nice build, not likeing that that low synth sound that goes with teh main melody. your bass is louder than your kick here.
not a fan of the lead melody, sorry. just too much goin on here.
keep it up ;) |

agree with eth here on pretty much all of it. nothing really stands out here in terms of melodic value, but it aint a bad track, i found out i was listening to something after the track stoped, i was like huh what was just playing.... so its ok to listen to, just doesnt have any defining features that are like wow, cool, i'll definately listen to this again sometime...
thanks for sharing tho, keep at it and im sure you'll blow us away with something marvelous soon :) |

Hi,
A bit messy sounding overall. The breakdown comes in a bit too sudden for my taste, nice melodies in the break though. That snare that comes in now sounds very lofi, not that nice. Percussion overall is a bit out of balance imo. The climax is indeed a bit too much, maybe use some less reverb or something, now it sounds too crowded. Well, not that bad, but i have heard better tracks from you.

Thank you very much pals, I gotta agree, back then I used to make tracks crowded with sounds, I have learnt so much from you guys, I just wanted to compare my own critics of it now that it has been 5 months since I produced it with yours and I agree in most aspects, the whole track exceeds a bit of reverb which is not a good thing, some elements of the percussion sound lo-fi, and there was definately something wrong with the bass.
Cheers guys.
