M Audio Studio Pro 3 (Monitor)

The pro-3's are the real low end when it comes to m-audio speakers. And these are low-end studio speakers, so your going to have to expect a very flat, normalized sound.
Studio speakers are made to reproduce the 'sound' exactly, which is usually flatter than most anything else out there.
Upside to these speakers:
- They are dirt cheap as far as studio speakers go
- If it sounds good on these, it sure as hell will sound good on anything
Badside:
- They are practically the lowest end of studio speakers, they are glorified computer speakers
- Bass on these is practically non-existant unless your getting it with a sub
Alot of that is personal opinion...but personally I would recommend against them. Its better to get a 75$ 15'' loudspeaker with a 100$ 250watt amp than these when it comes to playing records imo.
Buuut thats just all opinion :) |

Well I am ona budget and canbarely spend more than 100 $
I do have an Amp, do you think they will work well?
I just want these for my bedroom. not really loud volumes.
I alreayd bid for them on ebay today, so if no one else bid, then I'll have to get them, that woudl be for 85 $.
If I don't get it, what monitors do you recommend me below 120 $.

Don't get 3" monitors of any brand.
Spend the extra on the 5" and you'll be glad you did. |
