I was asked to throw together a post warm-up, but pre-peaktime mix for a night I may start playing for, and I got sick of the apparent need for mixes to contain only the newest & most upfront tracks, regardless of if they are good or not.
So I just grabbed tracks from all over the years for this mix that suited the style, sound and speed needed. :)
