6-month subscription to protection updates from Symantec Security Response only. so after 6-months, you pay up or go get AVG and rid your pc of Norton's bloatware system-resource hogging technology. |

| Besides the fact that its not a bloat-ware system resource hog, are there any other benefits over Norton? |

I'm a computer tech, we get roughly 3-4 computers in every day with viruses and adware.
I can tell you right now mcaffe and norton are crap. They rarely even detect the viruses when they are there, and 99% of the time cannot get rid of them (its pathetic).
We sell norton to our customers cause they are dumbasses and don't want to listen to us. Which is ok, more money for us. But when their computers go to I use avg to clean them out :) |
