yeah. i'm ed. i've breached my conditionary sentence of 1.5 years house arrest. the sentence itself is over february 16th.. however, a mandatory 30 day stint in jail is required on all breaches.. i have no other offences other than the breach.. could someone tell me how this might affect my sentence?

how did you breach it?
that sucks though.... 1.5 years house arrest... I had like... 2 years probation once for something... but I mean at least I could leave my house! |
yeah, the year and a half is over in feb.. i just don't know how it will affect my being free, after the month has been served. |

LOL I was a juvie when i got into my , but my PO came to my school like every 3 months or so and I just had to meet with him in the office for like 5 minutes... :p Oh and I had to call him every Friday... to check in.
I got my community service done like the summer before my time was up haha... :p Had 100 hours, did them at my mom's work cleaning the trails (she works at a nature center) and I worked at the ing food bank... guh... :(
Whatever, could have been worse.... but yea by the time my stint was over with they had dropped my "threat level" or whatever to 0 and they switched me to some new lady PO that I never saw once and never talked to either... lol good times.
Oh I had to maintain a C average while I was on probation too... thats the only part I failed... lol and well they didnt care.
*nou was a secret bad boy* |
i don't remember writing anywhere that i wanted to read a chapter from your life story..
do you have advice or no? |

I was basically trying to convey that if you did what most of you were supposed to do they dont give a .
But obviously you couldnt even understand the point I was making, so I assume you are pretty ed. ;)
Who knows though Canada is a whole different world. |
if i had been in america when i committed the crime i most likely would have done at least two years.
out of 100 hours of community service, i've done about 5.. maybe 10 at the max. i was supposed to go through drug and alchol treatment, which i attened the first of three meetings, which was a a joke; i watched a 60 minute movie about the drugs i like to do, and later came up with a few ideas on 'how we can better use our time' and 'what are things we can do to occupy our minds when we want a fix'.
i don't know what's wrong with me, i find it almost impossible to do anything i'm demanded to do. it's quite a self-defeating trait. i have far too much pride and for the most part don't think i should be held accountable to what i find to be such minor mistakes. the man, till i die, so to speak.
i guess i do know what's wrong with me.
30 days is a good way to quit cigarettes, if anything. |

If I wasnt who I am, I would be in jail to this day... :wtf: So I guess we are both lucky.
You ed up someplace, do the they give you, even if its stupid or they gunna ass rape you (maybe literally).
I wanted to kick the ing russians that sent in the little old ladies to pick up like 100lbs of food and then made me carry it to their car (which they always parked on the farthest corner of the lot) only to see their van was filled with totally able bodied men.
That sounds like you think you have a tough guy attitude but it sounds way more like a defeatists to me.
Thats a start.
Least you got something out of it... :p |
you must have missed the part where i stated it was a self-defeating trait. you're just spitting my sentences back at me, which is quite annoying.
i'm passionately independant, and if i wasn't who i am, i wouldn't be in jail to this day. i've made it through this bull sentence up to this date, and with a month and a week left on the sentence, the 30 day breach should bring me right on par to celebrate my 23rd birthday on the 18th of Feb. heh.
as long as i don't have any more time tacked on for the breach, i should be fine. i don't care about a little bit of pennance.
please be to not responding in a dissective manner next time. |

So they dont give a that you have done only 10 hours at most of your community service and didnt complete whatever treatment they gave you?
Im sorry but even in Canada, if I was a judge I would toss you in a cell for a couple months to teach you a lesson.
I think you are seriously ed. |
i'm quite sure they'll give a . i guess we'll see |

well good luck... :nervous:
sorry for coming off as an ass, I know how much dealing with courts and judges and sucks... :( |
ok, i actually have a pocket criminal code.
733.1 (...that's 1337 backwards, folks.)
an offender who is bound by a probation order and who, without reasonable excuse, fails or refuses to comply with that order is guilty of:
an offence punishable on summary conviction and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding eighteen months, or to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars, or both.
the 'without reasonable excuse' is key here. i've been stringing the prob. officer along for quite a while now, evading breaches before by telling her that my GF was preggers, and later on in the year telling her that the GF had a miscarriage. I'm going to rehire my criminal lawyer after the mandatory time is over and go for a loophole and claim severe depression. shoot for the moon, hit the stars.
..it could work. |
