If I was going to mix 2 songs that are playing on different computers and both computers are hooked up to a mixer.
I have a Behringer 1604A (Yes I know , not good but cheap) and its not a DJ mixer. I read the manual and not sure if its possible or not. To set one channel to send signal to headphones and other one just to play on speakers so I can beatmatch and then mix together by adding volume.
So basically 2 computers are plugged in the mixer (same as having 2 turntables) on different channels obviously. But Im not sure if my mixer has the functions of previewing and then adding volume and mixing in speakers. Thanks |

If you want to mix properly (beatmatching) your going to need dj software, just do a search on the forums for things like Traktor, PCDJ, DssDJ and Virtual DJ.
I dont see why you wouldnt be able to mix aslong as you can cue. |

Oh
Well I got Traktor 3 on both machines, I dont have dual souncard thats why im trying to mix in 2 PCs. I like the process of beatmatching in the Headphones and then adding volume to the monitors |

| yup, this should be possible. just hit mute on the channel you want to cue in your headphones. this'll route the channel to your alt 3-4 bus instead of the main speakers. there should be a button that you can press to route the alt 3-4 bus to headphones. hope this helps. |
