Yeah, I'm pretty sure barosoap and I are in. I haven't seen Behrouz as far as I can remember. Also, haven't seen Satoshi since last January, and that was for only an hour. |

Satoshi Tomiie is Japan's most successful international DJ and House producer. Besides his proven talents as a DJ, producer / artist and musician, Satoshi is an integral member of Manhattan’s prestigious Def Mix collective, and is famed for his blistering productions and remixes, and his pioneering SAW.Recordings label. crobar is very excited to celebrate the release of Satoshi Tomiie’s latest 3xCD album, Renaissance presents 3D, available in stores everywhere on February 28th. As the name suggests, Renaissance presents 3D is a triple album, with each disc drawing on the key musical aspects of Satoshi’s career. First up is Club, a bang-up-to-date recording of his live sets; then there’s Studio, a CD that really proves Satoshi’s commitment to the project with its seven exclusive remixes and re-edits of his own material, such as the seminal ‘Love In Traffic’ and the likes of Photek, Kosheen & Hybrid; finally the Home CD switches gear and delves into Satoshi’s favourite selection of chilled cuts that have also inspired him over the years.
San Francisco’s Behrouz joins NYC's Satoshi this week. Behrouz is a masterful exponent of all things deep and hypnotic, his DJing and production has become the toast of his U.S peers, most notably Danny Tenaglia and Deep Dish. Little wonder he picked up nominations as ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ from the prestigious Dancestar organization, ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Ibizan DJ awards in 2004 and “Best Resident DJ” at the Club World Awards 2005.
