Swells, Biruta...

I don't think his age or his experience on the scene has anything to do with his skill or style either....the man can hold his own with the best of them

But Sander doesn't spin "uberhaus", or house at all...frankly I don't know what the hell he's spinning right now. I downloaded that recent System Soundbar set of his after everyone proclaimed he played deep, dark progressive house...but all I got what some crappy "electro-house" tunes that I've heard for the past few months. The reason why I dont like Sander is because he just throws down "tunes" that everyone else is playing. He's like the "me-too" DJ.

IF Sander starts playing proper house again, like he did in his 2003 Essential Mix, or on This Is Everybody, then I'll take back everything I said. Afterall...he was the first house DJ I've seen; he got me into this .

wait till he gets back into stereo's room....nothing ressurrects a DJ's ability to play house like that club. And I agree with you about sander's current style, but he still does have it when he wants to play it....Although i did find his system soundbar set quite enjoyable.

SANDER ING K!!!!!!

I'll have to have listen, since I confuse them all anyway, but is his original Everybody CD *that* much different than his current stuff? It's darker...funkier, I'll say...but he seems to have just replaced some of the funky with some electro. His system appearance was awesome, but also included some prog trance that was very unexpected (but quite a nice surprise, nonetheless).

oh well...I'm no house expert...maybe he does just drop tunes and copy others...if so, he's doing a damn good job, because his Everybody CDs (all 3), his essential mix, among other live set I have, have all blown my mind :)

Sean Miller is good yes, but his carreer is way too young to even be mentioned in the same sentance as Sander.

Preach or Marco G >Sean Miller:p

not that I'd put him in Sander territory either, but Sean Miller has been around for quite some time, if he's the same Sean Miller I'm thinking about (?)

I remember him 'headlining' a little party at the old Tropicana *at least* 6 or 7 years ago...I think he was even spinning TRANCE back then, if I remember right? :p

i like Sean Miller...

but Sander and Sean on seperate bills.
Shawn will be rocking an empty floor.
There are soo many dj's out there that have the skill. But a reputation and huge following takes years....maybe one day Sean will be there, but right now he is not.
Sean needs to get away from Lawler, because Mr Lawler is on the decline bigtime.
infinity HiGH
Nah, Sean doesn't need to get away from Lawler. He just needs to keep doing what he's doing. Touring North America with Lawler probably helped him bigtime is establishing connections. All he needs now is to get in touch with Digweed for a Kiss show;

and start putting out some frickin mixes online :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

Tribal Lawler is the man
Electro Lawler is hmmmmmmmmmmm(and i love electro)
RapidFire
nah lawler is up there with his electro . check out his recent One Nation Mix. good stuff
mindspin
steve lawler is not on the decline by any means. is his style changing? yes. is he catering more to the commercial house crowd? yes. is his following getting smaller? not even close. i enjoy old lawler 10 times more than new lawler....but there is no way that you can say he is on the decline....his career/label are only getting bigger by the day.

i want mr tribal back!!

mr. dark dark drums

As much as I love Lawler and had some of the best parties last year with him behind the decks; his electro-house gets monotous sometimes. And it's because it's like every song is trying to be so in-your-face about being "electro."

Tribal Lawler >>>>> "Electro" Lawler; even though overall, I still manage to enjoy his current sound.
