Hey yo everyone,
just checking in to invite you all personally to what is the most special of all my gigs to date and there have been a few
lately. January 14 at Stereo will be my 30th birthday to the day and as such, Stereo has given me
the chance to grace Stereoheads with my 1st extended set. I dubbed the party "DIRTY" THIRTY as a reflection
of my age - I hate the fact that I'm leaving the twenties - and as a reference to my musical taste.
This date is special to me on many levels, but none more than to show my supporters the range of music
I have always dreamed of delivering at Stereo. Many that have caught me @ Stereo have heard me for 3 hour slots at
different times depending on the night and who I've played with. As people have come to see, I don't just believe in one
sound. There are just too many good sounds/records out there to be played and enjoyed. As I have always believed and
preached, a good record needs to be played regardless of its genre.
So what to expect from me at DIRTY THIRTY? Groovy, Tribal, Vocal, Dubby, Soulful, Techy, Dark, Minimal, Sound Factory,
Classics, and above all a DIRTY journey throughout the night. For this occasion, I have also asked my peers local and
international, for their special edits and promos; and rest assured they will be dropped! Stephan Grondin, Mark Anthony,
Bear, Joubin and Nicola T., David Morales, Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone, Hec Romero and Cevin Fisher
to name a few.
As publicized, there will be a special guest DJ and friend opening the night at Stereo while we close the festivities
downstairs at Stereo bar hosted by the Blended crew with the sounds of up and comer; Malick.
In addition, diva Sheena Hershey will be making her long awaited return to Stereo after a performance at this year's
Black and Blue.
I would love to see and all your friends there on the dancefloor come the 14th.

Danny Torrence is sickness behind the decks...I've seen at few times @ Stereo and he essentially REALLY has an awesome sound...
Even though I'm a girl who generally appreciates a DJ when I can identify him by his own, individual sound, Danny Torrence is one of those DJs that I appreciate specifically for the fact that he experiments with different sounds of EDM.
Happy Birthay Danny, you gave me some crrrrazzzzzyyyy nights at my home away from home ;) Hope I can make it to witness the insanity you're gonna pull!

yeah, sick. never seen the man live but had enough of his praise shouted in my ear from beautiful women and others who never sleep so that now i'm pavlov's dog except that i'm salivating and my ass is shaking involuntarily.
nice evite, pal. been absent from the stereo scene for a few weeks so the flash animation is making my back sweat. SNACK ATTACK MOTHER******!
$15 tix? that's the nice price. i might take the savings and buy the man a weirdo new york avant garde jazz music cd for his 30(thanks a lot cheap thrills!). |
