| So I have a flanger currently on one of my sounds and i was wondering how I can mute the flanger when I don't want it. I know I can link something like FL Mute 2 to it, but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Anyone like to give me a hand? |

you know how every effect in the mixer has a wet/dry or more like a volume knob of its own right next to its title listing??.... well you can make an automation clip for that knob and use that. It'll let you control how much flanger is being used. SO as a switch, you can have an automation clip with a SUPER-sharp curve... and have one for turning it on and one for turning it off.
that's what i can think of. |

| Haha I'm an idiot. Yeah I could've just created an automation clip for the knob to turn the volume and make it a sharp curve. |

| You can alternatively automate the on/off button next to the volume. Either works |

I was thinking about that... but how would that look on the automation clip? |

| when the automation clip is at the top then the flanger will be on, when it as at the bottom (or below half way down) then the flanger will be off. |
