| In the pattern sequencer lane I pencil in the redrum pattern but when I playback it keeps playing back the sound even when it's gone past the redrum sound. How do I just play back what I've penciled in? Thanks! |

hit the reset button located on the right side of the trasport panel.
this may be the cause. |

| you probaly have the enable pattern button on..off positon = white |

| after you pencil/sequence in the pattern, make sure the tabs aren't on that pattern, if you don't the sequencer will just keep looping the loop in the redrum. |

By default, Redrum will play an entire sample when triggered. To make it stop when your sequencer stops, flip the decay switch (it's next to the Length knob) to gate mode on each channel on the redrum unit.
Now each sample should last as long as the note on your sequencer.
