To put a term like 'English Style', will spark interest in people simply because they aren't sure what it means! So people start asking around, word of mouth is put into action, and threads are created to spark even more interest. It's smart business. To put style code, a term EVERYONE is familiar with - would'nt really be something to talk about.

| not that I would have a problem getting in as I'm a sexy assed piece of man meat, but, I hate arbitrary dress codes. Lay it out for us..... clean cloths, no athletic wear, no open towed shoes (men), no ball caps, no colours, no torn jeans. FYI, based on the principle of ambiguity of contract (if a matter is not explicitly written in the contract judgement must be against the writer of said contract) anybody could get into this club provided that they could show they were wearing cloths that English people wear. |

ive heard horror stories of bouncers refusing people to enter TIL several times because they didnt "seem" to be dressed appropriately. meanwhile these women were all decked out and all...maybe not a load of makeup on the faces but yea... the bouncers over there chose who entered and who didnt based on their personal opinion..
hopefully thats not the case with SOHO fridays cos i actually plan on going to this and not having a friend or 2 rejected at the door |
