Shure Whitelabels if money is not an issue.

it would be helpful if you could tell us what sort of DJ u are. for example do u scratch at all? depending on your answer a spherical or elliptical cart will be recommended.

Shure Whitelabels are pricey but if scratching is not an issue they will give u excellent tracking, sound clarity and will not unduly wear ur vinyl out.

yeah i'd recommend whitelabels if your willing to drop some loot and don't scratch.

Just trance and techno.

No scratching, and I'm pedantic about record wear..lots of rare tunes!

Thx!

can't go wrong with ortofons. i upgraded from whitelabels to elektro concordes, and i'll never go back.

the whitelabels i own have major balance issues (def not the stylii).. and apparently others have experienced the same thing. they make great backup carts, and track well though.

ive got the ortofon nightclubs, absolutly love em.

White Labels are the better choice over the Nighclubs for a couple resons.

1 Does not burn your record as quick as the Nightclubs (cue burn)
2 cheaper to replace stylus (40$ vs 70$ CAD)
3 very well constructed and can withstand accidents.

All my friends have the Nightclubs I have whitelabels I did some research and came up with points 1 and 2 to buy the white labels. And point 3 comes from things I have seen, where the arm on the Nightclubs will break off, never seen a whitelabel do that. You take into account that happens after replacing your stylus you need to buy the whole thing again, the white's are metal and I can't see them ever breaking.

The whitelabels are cheaper then the nightclubs when you first buy.

I'd say go with the White Label as well...

i think i'm starting to have this problem w/my whitelables.

it's hard to tell because, i don't have the problem w/all my records. but i have it happening enough to make me notice that something is up. i've pretty much ruled out the mixer. it MIGHT be the interconnects... i dunno yet. also, when i do notice that the balace is off, messing w/the anti-skate doesn't help.

inspite of that, i would recommend the whitelabels.
excellent sound, very nice and clear. HUGE IMPROVEMENT over my old 500al's, and they will not chew up your records.

the fact that they will wreck your records was the tie breaker when it was between the groovemasters, and whitelabel.
