Mark Spoon from Jam & Spoon found dead

Jam & Spoon were one of the original trance acts...with their classic Stella...and Follow me...Mark Spoon was found dead in his apt...early signs point to cardiac arrest.

| Wow, what a shock. :( The guy was a bit of a shady character, but together with Rolf Ellmer he has given dance music some of its greatest moments. RIP. |

I really dunno what to add. Mark Spoon under his various guises did some great stuff over the years. With Storm, Jam & Spoon or Tokyo Ghetto
must be the biggest loss since Caspar Pound died |

what a great duo, with great tracks such as 'Stella' and 'Follow Me'
and not forgetting 'Storm'
I was just as shocked when Marino Stephano died in a car crash, such a talented producer at a young age, with his track 'Vision Control'

Damn, what a loss. This is really sad news and as for the German text, I used a translator and it reads as follows:
"The Frankfurt Techno Urgestein Mark Spoon (aka Markus spoon) was found dead in his apartment. So far still nothing is well-known over the closer death circumstances - it is however assumed that a cardiac infarct is to have been the reason. Together with Jam El Mar alias Rolf Ellmer celebrated Spoon as duo "Jam & Spoon" since the early Neunzigern large successes in the German and European Dance scene. 2004 were published the last album of the two with the title "Tripomatic Fairy of valley 3003". Also with its solo project "Storm", as well as DJ, producer and Remixer made itself Marks of Spoon in the last years a name. The Urgestein had its last public appearance past year on the Dance Award in Hanover." |
