M-audio soundcard

A question to whoever uses the m-audio like mine,, I just bought that thing today ,, now the thing has only one USB port which is used to connect it to my laptop, now how am i supposed to connect my midi controller to that thing ? or can I just connect the midi controller to the laptop on another USB port and it'll still work fine ? or is the thing only for guitars :conf:

why on earth would you hook up a midi controller to a soundcard? (except if it's a midi cable).
Just plug the controller to your pc and install the drivers. |

| i see, i saw a controller pluged into a midi interface before, i thought it has be done the same with the sound card,, but now u made my life easier,, thanks |
