The foillowing tracks start with a 4/4 beat, but are good to use as first tracks, as they take a while to build up

i think lonestar - uno di ci is a great opener to start a prog house set!
for me a good opener is the most important start to a set because you have to build on that one! :) |

i love when armin opened up one of his live sets with that track sampling the matrix "take the red pill...take the blue pill" :D
me personally if im playing a trance set even though im not a huge breaks fan i like to open my set with a breaks track with a huge synth line. |

Also Masiello took me by surprise using Halcyon & on & on for Balance 008 (hard to mix out of it tho as shows)
I'm a total sucker for good opening tracks ... I judge about all tracks I hear on being able to open with it .... I prefer the floaty stuff obviously ... no opening with just a beat! |
