I know a bunch of you wanted to know my results from the World Congress of Martial Arts Championships.... well The final results came in last night!
I ended up taking GOLD in weapons advanced men 18-25 years old
Gold in open hand forms advanced men 18-25
and BRONZE in fighting/sparring advanced men 18-34!
In the sparring I got Disqualified for excessive force with contact to the head on my opponent and as a result lost the match I was winning up to that point. The guy was from Great Britian and ended up winning the Gold medal. So I came close to a tripple crown but not quite.
I'm still pretty thrilled. we had awards today and getting called up for gold medals in front of hundreds of screaming people is a thrill not to be forgotten soon.

I partied too hard last night! wow. When athletes finish up they sure get trashed! We were at the clubs until 4:30am and then we went to the beach and continued partying until 5:30 when I decided I had to take my drunk ass back to my room and pass out. I got up today at noon.
The previous day I had gotten up at about 6am to start getting ready for my first match at 9am. I'm taking tonight easy(ish);)
People are just starting to head out now. |

Holy dude, congrats! That dosn't sound like somthing very easy to do and it seems like a huge achivement, even it wasn't a triple crown, that still is ing amazing!
