Ok, so this time I made a harder track that's great for the dancefloor.
Let me know what you think about it. ;)
Enjoy! //Alex

Bumping thread and listening :).
LOL, funny intro, that syncopated kick is not very pelassant imo, the build up is a bit caothic also, loving thta distorted synth that appears about 2 minutes :), since 2:40 all begins to take a form, the break is really nice, you could exploted more the plucked sound though :).
In overall, is going pretty nice man, love the distoirted synth and the break was nice, I just would work out more the strcture, is a bit anarchist and caothic, keep it up ;).

Thanks! :tongue2
I'm not sure if I'm going to work more on this one, maybe I'll add some more synths/elements to it.
The only thing I know is that I'm going to buy Spectralive for mastering.
I'm using the demo of it in this song, it's that causing the beeps. But gosh, what a sound difference it makes! :D
Anyone else? |

Cool sounds in the intro.
Syncopated drums at the end of each system are kind of throwing the groove, IMO. I think that fills like that can wait until you need them to create tension.
I like the subtle acid stabs in there.
Your bass is so low down there. The kick is just overwhelming it. It kinda lends to the hard feel you've got going here. Is this intentional?
I agree with Kopi about that distorted lead. Very nice.
I think that plucked lead in the break could use more atmosphere. A touch more delay with a feedback filter, maybe.
That outro was cool. I liked that. |

I think that if you were to reverse the polarity of the kick while its syncopated then that might add a touch of depth to the beat. I like the percussions and the way they pan out. At 2:45 when the pads come in and the synth fades out sounds really cool. Very ambient. The strings go perfectly with the synth sound too. Nice timing around 4:40 for the kick. It doesnt sound too hard anymore either.
I can see the strobe lights now! lol
I like it over all. Sounds like it would be great in the clubs. |

Hey mate, listening now :)
It's got a nice minimalistic touch to it. One thing I do not like though is the kick variation you do, it lets you loose the feeling of a buildup as it's a bit off the wall?
Percussion otherwise is ace, the sounds you have chosen fit it good.
Also, try leveling it more, the kick steals a bit too much of the show. Also I'd like to see more bass entires in it? Maybe try a second bassline along with the one you have. A subby square one would be awesome, maybe one that is simple between the kicks going in a slide from a note to an octave higher starting its low note on a kick and sliding to an octave higher between the kicks?
Hehe, just an idea anyway :p
I'd like something more happening in the track also, maybe some different variation or introducing a more melodic line?
Anyway, minimalistic niceness, keep it up! :) |

hey speactra.
i havnt heard any of your music before.
not listening on proper speakers so i wont comment on overall balance....
kick sounds full and dirty imo. in a good way.
i like the high wails. and when the low bass note comes in it gives the track a nice dark feel.
break - i love it! really nice and atmospheric. makes me look forward to the kick coming back:) - very long which im a fan of.
beat comes back - the track works well. really sophisticated and dark minmal.
im very happy i checked this cos its really good!
original and emotional

Thanks guys, really apreciated!
I am now doing some rework with mastering and some mixing.
The kick stays tough. I've been used to it so much that if I take away that variation, it sounds weird... :tongue2 |
